Sooooo this season has apparently been hinting at a rainbow power being inside the plot device box. They're already selling 'rainbow power' toys, so there's no doubt it's going to be something rainbow-y. Already some bronies are getting upset about it, because it's "G1 crap" and blahblah. I think it'd be a neat little nod to the original series if it is. Megan next, yes. The wank would be glorious.

JFC. We wouldn't have G4 without G1. Yes, G1 was cheesy sometimes, but it was actually pretty decent compared with some of the other stuff out at the same time. People getting pissed about a G1 reference can shut the fuck up.

I haven't seen the last few episodes, but going by the super ridiculous rainbow Mane Six, I am pretty excited.

I just want the Smooze to be the show's ultimate baddie I wasn't into ponies during the earlier gens, who's Megan?

If you want to see brony wank, check out the meltdown from Princess Molestia blog being shut down. It's both hilarious and horrifying, considering all the death threats they're sending to the teenage girl who emailed Hasbro about the it.

Megan was a human girl that the ponies brought into their world to help them save the world.

Megan was a human girl that Firefly found and brought back to the 'pony' world with her. She ends up being given the RoL by a little wizard type guy and uses it to save Spike/Some other ponies/etc.

The Rainbow of Light is a powerful rainbow that is kept inside of a heart locket, it's basically the moon scepter of MLP. Megan was the one who could use it, and was brought into the 'mlp' world by Firefly (basically Rainbow Dash, but before Joss W. had a copyright on the name lol)

Hm. Wonder how they would incorporate that with no human characters. (I really hope they do keep the "no humans" thing. Not to bang on G1 or anything. I just think FIM is better this way)

The Megan thing is mostly a joke, since the Bronies would hate it :p I'm just making a guess at the power being the RoL, since there's a ton of 'rainbow power' toys out for sale now/the items the main six have been getting shimmer with a rainbow light/A rainbow appears and shows them the right thing to do/etc. Who knows!

What matters is whether it appeals to the target audience - little girls. If they like the rainbow power, congrats, it's a hit!
