What countries have you traveled to and what was your experience in those countries like? Don't be afraid to go into detail/gush.

What countries would you like to travel to?

Okay, There will be quite a few countries:

Denmark - I went to Denmark basically every year as a child, and I loved it, Danes are quite nice you can drink legally from you are 16 and it has Legoland! Copenhagen is also beautiful also the coast. I am hoping to be able to fly over to Denmark some time this year, actually because I miss going there.

Sweden - That is the place we go to buy cheap food/Alcohol and Cigarettes. I haven't really done a lot of touristy things in Sweden. Well I visited Gothenburg a couple of times while I was dating a Swede. But most of my memories are either shopping for food or going slaloming in Åre, which is awesome!

England - I've been to London about 4 times, and my favourite memory is iceskating under the London eye. Other than that I backpacked for a month around Britain, and saw a lot of amazing stuff and meet a lot of nice people, mostly Canadians...

Wales: Cardiff is a really cool city, and I wish I got to spend some more time there. I loved the mixture of old rundown neighbourhoods and the hyper modern new places. Also the spot by the Norwegian Church was really, really pretty.

Scotland: Glasgow holds some of my favourite memories from backpacking, which includes celebrating Canada Day with a lot of Canadians, we barbequed and got drunk in a hostel and I met one of the most beautiful men I have ever seen there. Scotland is also the country my friend and I spent a night outside a church because of a slight miscalculation which meant it was too late to get a place to sleep, but too early to get on a train. Oddly enough that night was pretty fun, even if we didn't sleep much or really did anything except look at an amazing church that was all lit up.

The Netherlands: All I remember from Netherland is tulips, tulips and some more tulips. Also I spent
a day in Amsterdam: Shopping while my father and a crazy Dane sat outside a pub drinking beer and I was only allowed to walk as far as he could see me.

Gambia: I spent Christmas 2008 in Gambia, and it is a beautiful country, and the people were warm and welcoming and the food was amazing. But also the poverty was pretty major and what is stuck from that journey was talking to one of the Hotel workers about Norway and Gambia, he told me about his family and how he couldn't make enough money to visit them and so on.

Poland: Concentration camps was mostly what I did in Poland, so not a fun trip but a really important one. It was my 10th grade class trip and we got tours around the Concentration camps and told stories about WW2, what I remember is how freakishly huge Auchwitch 2 was, it is gigantic, like seriously not imaginable big and I will never forget being told about the torture and suffering that happened there.

But we also had some fun in Poland, and at one point my friends and I got a tad bit lost (well if they had listened to my friend and I we would have been unlost) so we talked to some nice police officers and they drove us back to the Hotel. Which my step mother somehow heard about and thought it had happened because we did something wrong.

Latvia: I went to Riga last Summer as a birthday present from my Father and Stepmother, The Old Town in Riga is so beautiful and the nicest thing I did there was probably just sitting in a cafe alone drinking a cocktail and eating cake while reading a book. The waitress was so nice and we talked a bit together and I just looked at the people and blended in. Which is what I prefer to do when abroad, not look like a tourist.

Germany: I went to Berlin at the same class trip as the one to Poland and we also went to a concentration camp and a political prison there, which also is something that I will remember. But I would rather talk about the fun thing we did: We went to this huge indoor pool/camping thing and spent the night and it was Octoberfest and it was so much fun even if we were not old enough to drink, we still swam and ran around just having fun.

I think those are all the countries I've been to. I would like to travel to: Australia, China and India, but also Hawaii and Island because I would love to see the nature in Island and Hawaii looks so pretty whenever I see it on television.
