If you had a bucket list (a list of things to do before you die), what would be #1?

Learn to fly a helicopter...

or get a Phd, but that is mostly an academic thing and shouldn't count in a bucket list, at least not what I would put on mine.

Oh god, you're truly fearless aren't you? I am not a fan of heights. Not at alllllll. That is a neat, adventurous #1! Hopefully you'll get around to it one day.

And IMO PhD's totally count.

I am seriously afraid of heights and I would never get in a helicopter if I wasn't so sick they had to airlift me somewhere, I even don't jump down from chairs, because it is too high up.

But I still would love to learn to fly a helicopter, because I am a control freak and flying it would be better than putting my life in the hands of someone else. Also I just enjoy the idea of being up in the sky looking down, I would also like to learn to fly an airplane, but the small ones are really dangerous and the big ones is for working and I don't really want to be a commercial pilot.

I guess it does, my bucket list does not have any academic things on it, because academia is the thing I do because I should/have to do it, my bucket list is for learning to fly a helicopter and use a compound bow!

Facing your fears, huh? I don't think I could bring myself to do it so you even wanting to is insanely brave to me. You DO seem to be very hands on, so I can't say I'm surprised to learn this. I'm sure you would be just as capable as any other pilot. :p

Rightttttt, using a bow. That one...I want that one as well. Bows are sexy.

It is a mix between that and I like being a bit different, and knowing how to fly a helicopter most certainly covers that. Thank you! But I don't think of it like that, I just think it seems like a cool thing to do, and I wouldn't be comfortable if I wasn't in the drivers seat so to speak. Oddly enough I have no plans to ever get a regular drivers license.

Bows are so cool! And I am actually fighting myself to not just buy one in the near future, because I do have the money, but then I will take out a significant chunk of my savings account, but I will gain an hobby which means I could join the bow shooting club thing we have in our city. I could join without owning a bow too, because they lend them out, but I am not comfortable trying out completely new things in front of others, so I would prefer to own one and practice a bit at home.

And now I am wondering what is on the top of your bucket list?
