Favorite place I go to frequently, skiing on Mount Snow. It's kind of a drive, but there's nothing like standing on the top of a mountain, snow in all the trees, cold air in your lungs... makes you feel alive.

Favorite place I've only visited once, the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas. It was one of the best vacations I've been on and can't wait to go back. The ocean was beautiful, the hotel was beautiful, and it has an amazing aquarium. Oh, and all the water slides.

I've been to Atlantis twice and I echo your sentiment, the aquarium is quite nice.
