Whaaat, holy fuck, it was on international news? O_O Oh wow. It IS possible it was me, if that was about OOTP. I used to go by "Daniela Lynx" at the time. Never knew that news of it that had reached the English fandom as well.

I'm afraid that at the time my English was really basic :'D and after I got good enough at it to do a translation, I was ambivalent between loving the fic like a (very imperfect) first child, or being damn ashamed of it. Nowadays it's more like the first, but I still wouldn't rec it, ahaha.

I wasn't actually in the fandom so I wouldn't recognise your name, but I definitely emeber hearing that a fanfic had been sold as the Spanish language copy of OOTP. I saw it on the news channel at work, which would probably have been CNN or Headline News (CNN Lite).

I know what you mean about being torn between loving it like a first child and being ashamed of it; I'm the same way about my first two fics :)
