Then you consistently fail
People assume that a differing opinion means I hate them for some reason
I don't think you hate me or any of the other people you're mean to. I don't even disagree with your basic viewpoints all that often. I think you are so uncaring about people, and how the horrible way you talk to them can affect them. I think you say stuff like "I figure the anons who are eager to be offended are going to be offended no matter what I say" to justify the fact that you just don't care enough to change.

Thing is, speaking just for me, I'm not offended b anything you say. When you say horrible things, or sensible things in a horrible way, to me I am not "offended". I am hurt. and the fact that it's not just me who has a problem with the way you talk to people would suggest the problem is not just that I'm too thin skinned. If you have anonS who have problems with you, you might want to not brush it off as "People being eager to be offended"

I am bothering. Why am I bothering. There's just going to be deflections and "The problem is not me" justifications.

You are actually too thin skinned. The anons who have problems with me consistently prove themselves to be pretty damn unreasonable. You're pretty much the reason I don't bother, yes.

I'm not going bend over backwards to be nice for a jerk when my opinions are about something like Star Trek on a fandom site.

You guys pretty consistently refuse to actually message me about what in particular I've done to offend you. You default to meanness while clutching your pearls over your feelings. You tend to be hypocrites.
