Re: What do you like to see in a hurt/comfort fic?

I don't like too much hurt--tends to just devolve into torture porn. Too much comfort also seems indulgent.

I kinda like characters mutually being hurt and mutually soldiering on, and then when the crisis is over there being some nice warm comfort. (Like there was a great SGA fic where McKAy and Keller are fighting their way through a hurricane to get back to McKay's injured team, or this Numb3rs fic where both Don and Charlie go off the road into a river, in the rain, also saving babies)
