yeah watching Sarah fall for Paul was like watching a trainwreck. Even though it was obvious the writers were trying to make Paul interesting, it didn't even slightly work on me. I wish there was less Paul and way more Art, personally.

Paul is the male equivalent of the Bad Canadian Actress (the guest star/love interest scooped up from the local farm team on a show filmed in Canada). His angsty backstory didn't fix the problem, it just highlighted how unequal he was to acting the part.

I like Art, but he and the other detective (sorry, I forgot her name) seem like they're in a different show altogether.

I did a double take when I saw this secret. Fandom osmosis has led me to believe that all the clones are gay.

I mean...the fact that she had sex with him while he thought she was someone else. And that he was banging her clone under false pretenses. Just...weirds me out something fierce.

Plus, I just find him so boring.

I'm gonna go against the reply grain and admit I like Paul and I like them together. I think the beginnings of their relationship did have its skeeviness, can't lie, but I like the progression between them.

Also, I find their sex scenes hot.

I dunno guys, I find their whole relationship pretty skeevy and damaged as a whole, like they are both being people they really aren't, and they are moved by a mixture of guilt and physical attraction.

I don't think they aren't supposed to ring like a "one twu wuv" couple, they are supposed to be damaged; their chemistry and story is interesting, in a more twisted way. And what I like is that they kinda try to be "nicer, better" versions of themselves, to try to do the right thing by each other, but they are both knee deep in shit and baggage coming to this conspiration from 2 different points.

I really think Paul should not overstay in the show, he most likely will just end up like a cancerous romance interest tagging along, but so far I have kinda liked the character and the place he has in the show.

I do kinda want for him to become an antagonist tho, so Art can step up to be more of a confidant to Sarah without a romantic subplot thrown in. I just want more Hanchard, he is way hot.

Ha, yeah, I actually liked the skeeviness right up until Paul found out that it wasn't Beth! And now he can go away, pls. I hope Season 2 has a lot more Art and about 100% less Paul.
