More like how common is it to find bodies/parts in them.

Oh. That. Well. There are people who have embalmed or otherwise perserved body parts for one reason or another. Think Sherlock and his skull in the living room - if someone inherited a skull like that from a relative and didn't want to put it on display, a storage locker is not a bad place to shove it.

Finding bodies/parts left in lockers from a crime though...
