I'm sorry I can't help, but I had the very same problems! I could never get Tumblr Savior to work no matter what tutorial or help thingy I followed. I was cursed. Hopefully you figure it out.

Yup, I use XKit with Firefox and am quite happy with it. :)

Pretty similar, yeah. I mean I never really got Savior to fully get going so I'm not sure, but it was super simple to install and use and has all the features I wanted plus some extras.
