Selling a video game

(Anonymous) 2014-01-21 01:16 am (UTC)(link)
I have a copy of Link Between Worlds, but it's the UK version and I am from America and have an American 3DS and games are region locked. I just bought the American version so I thought I would try to sell the UK version. Problem is I don't really know where or how to sell it. Anybody have any suggestions? :s

Ebay? Kijiji? Craigslist?

Ebay would be more for world purchases/sellers and Kijiji and Craigslist would be more for purchases/sellers in your own province/state.

I feel leery about posting on Ebay since I have no idea if it will sell or not and Ebay charges fees. But Ebay seems like it's my only option right now.

And I don't really know how in the world I would sell it on Craigslist since I live in America, I really doubt somebody here owns a UK 3DS.

Thank you for the suggestions though.

Try Gumtree.

Do you need to live in the UK to use it? :c It looks like you do.

I should probably have mentioned I am living in America hahaha oops.

Oh, whoops, sorry. I think you do, yeah. Is there actually a Guntree.com, though? Try that.

Yes it is the same site though.

I'd suggest eBay as well. A lot of the time they do free listings though? So you'd only have to end up paying the selling fees, which is better than paying for both.

I didn't know they do free listings, I guess that's something I will have to watch for then.
