I like Goku myself, but I'm totally with you on why you don't like or ship Sanzo/Goku. It really just skeeves me out. Not to mention how childish Goku is and why he is like that. Just squicks me out a bit.

Yeah, that's pretty much it. There are moments where Sanzo and Goku's relationship is really sweet, I just hate that Minekura tries to have it both ways and ruins it for me. If it was all slashy, that would be fine and if it was all parental, it'd be pretty great but both? Gives me the creeps.

Exactly! Their relationship is really sweet without all of that. I don't think I'd even like it if there was no familial bond attached. Goku can be pretty damn childish so shipping him with anyone is kinda hard for me. He's the kid brother of the group so I can't ship him with anyone.
