DA - I think they're saying to send letters to those people. Which I agree with and was going to suggest myself but that was kind of a weird way to put it.

You both seem to be overlooking the word "meet" in the secret.

ayrt - I didn't overlook it, but it seems that OP is prioritizing the part where they "tell them how much their work has meant to me". So if they can't meet them, sending a letter is the next best thing.
