Not radfem, but I did make a mistake. I was unaware of Jubal Early being a real historical figure, so I thought this was some otherkin bullshit like "I'm realted to this fictional rapist, isn't that awesome!" hence my attacking him for being a man glorifying rape. This is not the case so I apologise.

As it happens, I now have more of a problem with the fact that Joss Whedon named his fictional black character after a massive racist slaver. What the fuck Joss?

Reclaiming the name? You know the original dude would be pissed if he knew that his name was more famous attached a black man than to his gloriously white self. Idk that's entirely speculation on my part tho.

I dunno, I could see that if Early was a noble or heroic character, but making him just as evil as the original early felt black people were, that just seems like the worst of both worlds.
