Again: why does one woman have to be more important? Why does it have to be a contest? Why does it MATTER AT ALL????? What's riding on the question of who is more important? This entire secret reeks of misogynistic pitting of women who aren't canonically in conflict against each other for absolutely no reason other than to have an excuse to shit on one of them or hold one up as TEH WINNER.

Because the SJWs are obsessed with female characterization.

No, the slashers are keen that no-one get between their OTP. Because bisexuals don't exist.

No, I think it's because the phobes want to make sure there's a chick TO get between them.

You can think a character is bisexual and still not want other characters to get between your OTP. These aren't mutually exclusive things.

you see, Sherlock is basically the same as the Highlander

I'd be okay with that if we got epic swordfighting and head-chopping out of it.

(Anonymous) 2014-01-23 12:48 am (UTC)(link)
...you did see the end of A Scandal in Belgravia, did you not? It was unfortunately not an improvement.

(Anonymous) 2014-01-23 01:18 am (UTC)(link)
Nah, I mean, everyone should get a sword.

(Anonymous) 2014-01-23 01:58 am (UTC)(link)
Fuck it, just turn Sherlock into a swashbuckling pirates series.

(Anonymous) 2014-01-23 11:40 am (UTC)(link)
Try "The Seven Per Cent Solution". It may have what you're looking for.

It's because Sherlock fans are so fucking obsessed with their hate-on for Moffat's portrayal of Irene that they're desperately scraping for any possible reason they can to justify their monomania. "IRENE WAS LE MOST IMPORTANT FEMALE CHARACTER EVAH, MY REPRESENTATION AS A WOMAN!!!11!" seems to be what they've mostly settled on, and dissing Mary is one of the methods they're apparently using for this.
