Oh, fuck, I''ll brag away.
If and only if my cousin's research is correct, I am descended from servants of the Borgia (Lucrezia, etc.) family.
Now I know this means that I'm not going to buy a mortar and pestle and start growing a garden full of noxious plants to better cook up batches of poison. Nor will I admire anybody who wilfully chooses to do so.
Do I think it's an interesting thing to mention? Yes.
...but it also encourages people to make the most tasteless jokes about my cooking, especially if it turns out badly.
