I haven't seen anyone saying that. Then again...I'm sure someone somewhere is, but I can't bring myself to care. As other people have pointed out neither characters were in the stories much, and even if they had been I don't see the point of arguing about 'which character is most important'. Or why it matters. You can enjoy either or both characters regardless of how important they are to the material.
