This one costs money but I've gone from cautious :/ to "sign me up for beta" when I discovered you can trade in game money for "C.R.E.D" which is basically an item other players can sell you that extends your game play by a month. So I could feasibly never have to actually give money barring the initial game purchase?

IDK how it'd work if I took a month break and had the CRED in my items storage.

Samey syndrome doesn't bother me so much 'cause it will be new for me? I've dipped my toes and friends houses with character creation but never been too interested. But, uh, sci fi yes!

I don't know anything about Wildstar, so I can't comment on that. Sounds like a good way to avoid the subscription fee, especially for people who like to play the AH (I'm assuming there will be an AH, I don't know of course), personally I'm actually a fan of subscriptions because it means the game isn't designed with pay-to-win in mind or other such shenanigans %D

I know quite a few people looking forward to Wildstar because it promises not to be like other MMORPGs, I'm slightly wary with such promises - doesn't mean it's not gonna be a good game tho /o/
Also, yus, sci-fi! I was so sad when SW:ToR didn't turn out as awesome as I had hoped :( And I don't think anyone has heard anything from Dark Millenium Online since 2012.
