agreed. It's just becoming more and more pervasive too. There's a new series out this season that based on premise I wanted to check out (a little girl who may be delusional and has abandonment issues decides to conquer the world) and then I saw the character designs and they're actually worse than this piece of garbage

I thought that show would be interesting too but then I saw the main frmale character's design and lost all interest. IIRC, it's from the guy who did Darker Than Black and with how season two of that went, I can't say I'm surprised he did this.

It is called World Conquest Zvezda Plot. It is only directed by him. It is written by a guy famous for writing eroge.

I've watched the first two episodes and I can say that the directors haven't focused the camera in a way that makes me feel, at least, like they're sexualizing the characters. It feels more like superhero dress-up.

But I definitely understand if the outfits make you uncomfortable, because yeah they do look pretty skeezy, and you don't want to watch it.

It's honestly one of the main reasons I don't watch anime anymore.

You should check out some older anime or some of the newer stuff that doesn't have that stuff in it.

It's true. With the new seasons that come out I feel like I'm panning series just for skeevy character designs more and more often. Like the series you mentioned - it wounded interesting to me too, but then I saw the designs and yeah.
