Yes, ignoranced always makes me angry and I remember when here had much more nuanced less childish views of sexuality and media interest.

p.s. you earn "validity" and respect. Just because you happen to have some dumb useless opinions doesn't mean that you get to pretend they're anything like equal to an eloquent explanantion of why someone likes or dislikes something.

'Ignoranced.' Hang on, I want to appreciate the irony for a second while at the same time laughing at an anon talking about validity and respect and pretending they had an eloquent explanation of why they liked something that looks like a thirteen year old dressed in a stripper outfit.

Spelling error = anything to do with being educated or ignorant. Huehuehuehue

And you're forgetting the catgirls, they make it extra sophisticated.

It's not so much that it's misspelled. It's more the fact that it's misspelled in the middle of a diatribe where Anon is calling me childish for using the word 'gross' and claiming to oh-so-superior for being eloquently able to defend a character design that looks like a thirteen year old dressed as a stripper.

I don't normally notice misspellings, but that kind of irony just doesn't come around every day.

Oh crap, I ignoranced all over my screen! What a mess.

I usually don't like you but I think you're spot on in this thread, btw. I think it's super creepy that arguing anon is so invested in yelling at you for not liking it yet has no actual explanation or defense for this hypersexualized character design. Heck, I don't think an actual stripper could make those clothes look appealing or non-skeevy.

Nothing brings people together like a mutual dislike of hypersexualized characters who look like young teens.

I've long accepted that I won't be everyone's cup of tea. Sometimes I have opinions and those tick people off. /shrug.

Yes, thank you, anon. Other anon sounds like a creep.

(Anonymous) 2014-01-24 03:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Totally agree. It's disgusting. That kind of artwork skeeves me out in general--can't believe so anyone's actually defending it.

(Anonymous) 2014-01-24 01:18 am (UTC)(link)
Don't bother.
