I don't think I cried, but I'm not prone to it myself. I have a friend that had to leave the theater when we saw "The Pianist". She thought she would be able to handle it because there were no actual shots of the concentration camps, but the ghetto scenes alone broke her down. It's all about knowing what you can handle. And that's fine! It's good to be self-aware. Read the wiki page summarizing it. Or Solomon Northup's memoir.
