That said, this hit a little close to home because I am very much the Elsa to a close friend's Anna (personality, views on romance, mentality, expression, etc - a lot of people independently have commented on this). And I love my friend dearly but if I spend longer than twenty minutes with her I will inevitably want to shake her by the shoulders and tell her to grow the fuck up, already. But then, I feel that way about quite a few of my friends, especially my closest ones. *shrugs*
But that's actually why I love this movie - you have a traditionally romance-obsessed and naive character, and rather than being presented as "innocence gets you love" or a good ideal, it's dissected in-movie and criticized as a cultural ideal. I have many friends who I hope took something away from this movie.
