Themes that use the tiniest tiny text in the world that you have to zoom like 300% just to be able to read it.

To expand on that, links that clicking on them feels like threading a fucking needle.

That isn't even a specifically tumblr trend, but it's like I've time travelled to shitty myspace pages and dreamhosted fan sites.

Can bad web design in general just go away? I don't want to deal with a million ctrl++ings, straining my neck to focus on the resulting squished batch of text on the far right/left, all while having to highlight over the non-contrasting background. And ugly cursors, sparkling shit falling over all the things I'm looking at, and really lame uses of css.

Bad web design seems to come and go in cycles based on each generation of overly eager teenagers. Angelfire to Myspace to Tumblr to god knows what in the future.

I hate this so goddamn much and it seems like 90% of tumblrs have it. I mean, do any of you people actually look at your own blogs once in a blue moon?

Hell, 90% of Tumblr themes, period. The Geocities era had better web design principles, for crying out loud. I shouldn't have to hunt for navigation links. If they're even there to be found, that is. I swear some themes don't even have them.
