(Anonymous) 2014-01-25 01:29 am (UTC)(link)In Chrome it says where it is installed (in the extensions page), usually it's in the Program Data folder. That folder is hidden by default, so you have to go to options and check where it says "show hidden files, folders and something else". There delete the file.
In my case that solved the problem for a while, but then it came back. Hope this helps, if not Google your problem and you'll find tons of people asking it on tech support forums that are getting really thorough answers and help.
