Somewhere in that ridiculous F!S soap opera thread yesterday, the idea of drinks inspired by f!s members came up. I figured I might as well make it a thread today.

Uh, so give it your best shot and hopefully we'll have something drinkable by the end of it.

Doesn't have to be just alcoholic drinks, by the way.

My name doesn't sound at all appetizing as a drink, but I'm curious as to what others would put in it.

Dark dark chocolate/coffee mix* with something pale and brown sprinkled over the top, maybe nutmeg or ginger? Or maybe one of those pale brown decorative sugars around the edge?

*I don't drink coffee, so if there's a name for this, my bad!

Your icon makes me think of milkshakes for some reason.

So here it is!

The Sporkly Shake
Step 1: Make a milkshake.
Step 2: Instead of drinking it, pour into a bowl and eat it like soup, but using a spork instead of s poon.
Step 3: ????
Step 4: PROFIT!!!!

Am I doing this right?

6 oz cranberry juice

2 oz coke.

I'm going to make up my grapefruit concoction later, though without the sugar and trollis. And with moonshine instead of gin.

would probably end up being some weird strawberry lemonade thing, but snazzier, and more smoothie like.

At least, that's what I Would name after myself; I don't know enough about bartending to say for sure what mine would be.

My signature drinks at home are either hot chocolate with kahlua and peppermint schnapps or my summertime drink, the dirty Arnold Palmer.

One Mike's hard lemonade and 1-2 shots of Firefly sweet tea vodka. YUM! Serve with ice.

Straight rum shots with a soda chaser because I am the good twinplet (with a taste for "bad" things).

intrigueing is hot chocolate with cinnamon and whipped cream and a weird candied cherry on top.

making_excuses is definitely glögg with orange peel and stuff.

case is blackberry ice cream milkshake that is so thick that it's almost foam ^^

Well, mine would obviously have to be some sort of cocktail, something where it's not really clear what's in it, but not too strong, so people would have to go "huh, what IS this? It's...intriguing." (BA DUM TISH)

Dreemyweird think different. Blah. If you're going by personality rather than dumbness of username okay...

And anyway dreemyweird's would probably be full of Doctor Watson's Patented Miracle Brandy Cure-All, mixed with whatever-that-drug-was that Arthur Conan Doyle tested on himself, with a geeky-themed umbrella.

Can mine just be 1 part of my homemade ginger syrup mixed with 2 parts 100% grapefruit juice? :D

(Tried that last night and hooooly crap yum. At least, if you like strong spicy/bitter flavors. The syrup is just enough sweet to take the edge off the grapefruit juice, and the spiciness sorta burns the throat in the finish and YAY.)

-750mL Everclear
-32oz Gatorade (lemon lime flavored)
-2 cans Red Bull or other energy drink

What this does is turn you into me for a few hours and you probably won't remember it.

I have no idea. These days I mostly drink water and coffee and hot chocolate so I'm not the best person to ask this question.

However, I totes want my own drink.

The Gina In the King's Road is dark rum, amaretto, and orange juice.

Cake vodka and creme de menthe, with chocolate syrup on the sides of the glass, if we're going with the most literal interpretation of my name.

If we're going with stuff we like, something with tequila and peach schnapps.

Going by usernames... Something fizzy and sparkly and as blue as Dr. Manhattan? :D

Otherwise, either something coffee-based or something citrusy and tart that hides WAY more tequila than the flavor lets on.

Based on my own preferences, the non-alcoholic drink would be either a.) Coke Zero, or b.) coffee with hyper-concentrated peppermint hot chocolate as creamer, with an extra spoonful of sugar than usual. The alcoholic one would probably be apple lambic, or a dark beer with apple cider and a teensy tiny touch of (sweet) scotch.

No idea what a drink based on my name would be.

Inspired by my name? It would be, like, bright green. Because, you know, poison. And for some reason that makes me think of bright green. Probably because of something in fiction.

warm red wine (no merlot! a blend, a cab, or a zin) with a little honey for the bee and mulling spices for the 34 (as in thirty four spices, or something)
