I flew with Alaska Airlines from San Jose, CA to Los Angeles and back. I loved them!! Would fly with them again. The plane seemed a bit outdated, but we were flying a regional jet (it was 4 seats per row, so two on each side of the aisle) but the flight attendants were great and considering my flight was only an hour and half, they came by with drinks twice.

Also! You had your choice of either regional beer or a glass of red or white wine, complimentary! They were West Coast specials, but I didn't care. Of course you could have soda too. The plane I flew on didn't have any place to charge things, but you can charge in the airport if you're lucky enough to find space somewhere because everyone does it.

Feel free to ask more questions, I travel a lot (never to Arizona) No matter what the weather, I always pack at least one pair of jeans.

I don't mind an outdated plane as long as the attendants are nice/decent. I mean, maybe if I was flying overseas, but nope. :3

Ahhh I'm still going to be two months shy of 21 when I'm flying, so I'll probably stick to the sodas. :3

Alright. :) I'm hoping to get buy with just one carry on, so I'm a little worried about packing, but it's good to know about the jeans. |D

How long are you staying? I always manage to travel with a carryon (I packed for a ten day trip to Europe in a carryon, a week long cruise in the Caribbean with my formal outfits). It's entirely doable, get a 19" or 21" suitcase and you'll be fine.

Honestly? Just a couple of days. I'm just horrendously bad at packing. |D I always overpack just in case, but I'm hoping I can work on breaking that habit.

I usually only pack 2-3 pants/bottoms no matter how long I'm staying. After three years of intense traveling, I just finally learned how to underpack and it's been such a lifesaver. But only when flying. If I'm driving somewhere, forget about it, I throw in so much crap it's ridiculous.

Maybe that's my problem, always driving places. |D

Yeah, I think I'm going to take one pair of long pants, one pair of shorts, and one skirt... I think that should be enough. :D

It should. I usually bring two pants and a skirt, but I'm more comfortable that way. And if nothing else, you'll be in the US in a major city, you can always buy whatever you forget. At least that's generally my attitude
