I accept it as alternate canon! I love this kind of things. Then I can have two equally valid storylines in my head (okay, maybe one of them is a little more valid than the other; it depends on the creators' motives for cutting the scene out. If they were forced to do it, it's as valid as the end result. If they did it willingly for the purpose of improving the work, it has much less validity) and switch between them however I please.
