It's really scary, and I hate Latin America being so damn dependant on the USA economy so hard. They fucked up, and now the consequences of their mistakes are trickling down to us.

Things here were always expensive, so indeed the prices are going up and we don't like it, but it's not as sudden or violent as it could have been. You can tell specially in the cost of transportation and electricity bills, though we're not in an electrical crisis yet. Food is still quite affordable, but maybe that's because I'm in Santiago and everything is centralized around Santiago.

All in all, it's the basic services what have taken the brunt of this because yeah, thaaaaank you Pinochet & Concertación for privatizing the fuck out of every major business for +40 years. I can't even fault the idiotic Piñera for this, everything was screwed from decades ago.
