Why are you a forgotten jester?

One of these answers is true:

1) Because of a beautiful painting of a jester I saw once and whose artist I've forgotten.

2) Because I'm so funny but tragically forgotten most of the time. Boo-hoo.

Well, #6 is certainly true. LOL I suspect #1 is as well.

Assuming you're talking about SDCC...

When I was in high school and even most of college, it was always one of my dreams to one day go to SDCC. Only now the more I look into it, between the cost and the crowds and the stories about having to wait in line for over 12 hours to get into the more popular panels, I've started to wonder, is it worth it?

The local cons I've been going to for the past few years have been averaging 40-60k people, and part of me is totally fine with that. But the other part of me still wants to go to SDCC at least once, because it really is the con.

But yeah. Is it worth going or am I setting myself up for disappointment?

I worked at SDCC for over a decade. So yes, that one. I would have to ask you what you want out of it? That dictates my answer.
