What do you think of hypnotherapy? I have just started going to a cognitive behavioral therapist and we're doing some of that; the superficial research I did suggests to me that it often yields good results.

Anxiety relief.

We did one session already; I was extremely skeptical going into it but less so once I realized that hypnotism is not as it is depicted in popular media but rather inducing a state of deep relaxation. I am cautiously optimistic that this will work for me, especially since what I've read about it indicates that it does work for a lot of people.
