What I always thought was interesting about Night Vale is that the authorities are really scary and corrupt, but the citizens are mostly super nice, or at least genuinely looking out for their cohort. It's kind of like an exaggeration of a common real-world dynamic.

Like it! I live there! It's kinda like your night vale, but... you know, better. In every way. A few places more notably then others. I mean, I'm not saying your radio station is bad, but... I've driven through your depressingly dessicated town and... that Cecil guy is no Kevin.

Not that you're bereft of hope. I understand the best part of our little town is spreading into yours!

I used to feel that way until I started listening to the podcast. Also, I realized that expecting FandomSecrets *not* to feature lots of secrets about popular recently created works--or expecting FandomSecrets to be a reliable source of entertainment in general--was a lost cause.

Yeah, I kind of feel like the reason they're so queer-friendly is that they have so many bigger problems to worry about than who's dating who. No time to care about gay dudes when you have to pray frantically in your bloodstone circle and stuff!

...I guess that's a depressing way of looking at it, but it was always the impression I got.
