I think I'm your polar opposite, I often just ship the really obvious pairs.

Me too. I ship some rare pairs but in the very beginning I shipped Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione are main examples. But every pairing like that.

Me too. It's almost sad how predictable my shipping is.

(Not that I've never shipped rare-pairs, but it's...well, rare for me.)
