Factoring out social justice issues entirely, everyone should hate Disney with a burning passion for what they've done to U.S. and international intellectual property law.

I seriously can't even think about that for more than a minute without getting furious.

To be fair, Disney aren't the only ones continously fighting to keep older works from falling into the public domain, but they're definitely a major player.

I can agree with that 100%.

Just wait, because that US copyright extension that Pres.Clinton signed will expire in (Oct?) 2018, and you know the Disney lawyers are already gearing up to keep Mickey Mouse out of the public domain.
