TBH the name lost its 'weird' factor of the years reading it for me, for some reason. I had to look at it for a moment to figure out why you couldn't take it seriously, because it's just "the name of the magical institution Harry et al. school at".

For me it helped that when I read the first book I didn't speak any English, and our translation kept the Hogwarts name. I got used to it before I learned what it actually meant :P And by the time I did I just kind of went 'well, that's an odd name for a school' shrugged and found myself not really caring.
