This. TBQH I find the entire concept of "outgrowing" something to be rather stupid. You're never too old to enjoy something. There is no arbitrary age at which you are required to stop liking things, nor is it a requirement of being an adult. The sentiment of "I outgrew it" is condescending and reeks of "I am a mature adult and you are not," just as you said.

Which is dumb, because my grandmother still had Disney sweatshirts in her 80s.
