13. The names in Bleach are definitely not as ridiculous as the ones in Tomino Yoshiyuki's works. They're full of absolutely ridiculous names, like "Marvel Frozen", "Deck Afta", "Maria Maria", "Shot Weapon", "Bright Noah", etc. etc. I think he uses the SF settings of most of his works as an excuse to come up with the stupidest names ever because "it's in the fuuuuutuuuure!!111!".

Baccano! is pretty awesome for wtf names, too. Jacuzzi Splot, anyone?

How about Death Note? Takes the cake and then some for warped names, especially those of non-Japanese origin.

I'll admit that Light's name is pretty doinky, especially in the original Japanese. I mean, it's written as 月 but pronounced ライト? What the pyon? If someone in real life named their child that, it would end up on the DQN Names (http://dqname.jp/) page (basically the Japanese version of Baby's Named a Bad Bad Thing) in an instant!

Tomino Yoshiyuki's still the King of Doinky Names though. :P
