None of the rest of our party does. One of our Dawn castes DID have a daughter, but she got stolen by fairies pre-game. Woe. My character has five sisters, and the youngest two are the reincarnations of his past life's daughter and son, which is why he sat out our party's last adventure into the Shadowland. Having something more to live for than yourself doesn't go well with a Twilight caste who thinks that the best way to face his fears and therefore learn sorcery is to have his Circle go and piss on a Death Lord's lawn.

Human cuisinarts are fun, but yeah, they don't go well with being a peacenik. That's why Mantis Style is nice! But not very effective against an army of War Ghosts.

Yeah, I'm doing Dreaming Pearl Courtesan Style. Grapple counterattacks with your clothes = annoy people until they stop hitting you. Still not very effective against ghosts, but that's when you start picking up Sidereal bureaucracy. Terminal Sanction is only 2 charms deep! Of course, that's assuming you can FIND one of the crafty little buggers.

Twilights are crazy. Never seen one who wasn't. XD All that sorcery, I suspect. You give a guy the power to level a city and it just goes straight to his head...

Five sisters is quite a family...I can imagine how that would be a hell of a responsibility. Since Exalting and getting chased off the Blessed Isle, my character just has his son, but he's taken on a couple of orphans (only one of which turned out to be secretly evil).

Whee, it's exciting finding Exalted fans. Exalted is one of the few games where hearing about random strangers' characters is great, because something about the game inspires interesting characters.

XD That sounds like the best counterattack ever. It sounds like something our magician uses in Iron Kingdoms to get stunt points.

Not to mention a circle of superhuman buddies to trick into doing your bidding. And the power to absorb all that damage. I swear, the creators of Exalted were just tired of their mages getting geeked.

It's only the youngest two who require a lot of attention. The other three are old enough to manage themselves, and the second-oldest is stacked in fighting enough to take out a Dragonblooded in a semi-fair fight prior to exaltation. (I actually play her in the OTHER Exalted game that my friend is running. She's gone off to look for her brother. Hooray potential game crossovers? Where I will be talking to myself a lot? Heh.)

Doesn't it? I try not to be one of those fans who corners people to blabber about their character, but when it comes to Exalted, getting cornered is kind of fun.

. . . I can type that, I'm too tired to know better right now.

Anyway, yes, totally great to find another Exalted fan. =D

Dreaming Pearl Courtesan is my favorite MA in the book. It's got serious style, plus you turn into a dragon in the pinnacle charm. How cool is that? Also quite useful for talky-type characters, since if you're jumped by ninjas or something while you're doing your calligraphy or something you can defend yourself with your pen. Or your handpainted heirloom paper fan. Or, if you're the poetic sort, with the treaty you were writing up and they're currently breaking.

It's also super-girly, which is sort of funny because I keep making male characters who use it. I mean, the first charm is called 'Demure Carp Feint'.

I've never played a mortal in an Exalted game...might be fun XD We've joked about game crossovers but never actually done them. It would be hilarious if we did, because I don't think most of my characters would really get along *L*. Also I think my otter-totem Lunar pirate with the ever-full Moonsilver sake jug might be a bad influence on...well, nearly everyone.
