Being immortal would suck indeed. Being able to die means you only have a limited of time to do all the cool stuff you want to, which means you have a feeling of urgency not to waste time like those damned vampires.

I'd actually totally opt in or immortality. My mortality (and that of my loved ones) is a thing I hate.

I dunno, I don't like the idea of staying stagnant while the rest of the world changes and grows. Plus, what if the world ended? What if it exploded? I would just be floating off in space for forever.
