writing to celebrities?

I wanted to write a celebrity (it's not a superstar A lister or anything, but they are famous) a note but the only contact information they have on their website is "Professional Inquiries" or "Press Inquiries" - should I just write to one of those email addresses? I mean it'll either get forwarded or ignored, and I kind of figured going in that there is a high chance of my message being ignored even if it was a direct email. I'm just not sure of the etiquette here.

You could try poking around google for a fanmail address? If not, then I would go ahead and email one of those (probably "press inquiries"). Like you said, it'll probably get ignored anyway, but you can always add a quick "I couldn't find any other address to send this to, sorry" note.
