Oh I just do that with polish. What do you use as a base coat? The clear stuff?

This is what I use as a base coat. (Do you have a Sally's Beauty Supply? That's where I get mine.)

Technically it's a hardener, but it works well as a base coat too. The same brand has an 'all in one' polish that you can use as a base and top coat, but I typically use the hardener for the base coat, put two (or three, if it's an extremely weak color) coats of color, then the all in one as a top coat. If you have any problems with your nails (or just want to keep them looking pretty) then hardeners are excellent.

Though, I've tried half a dozen brands of base coat and top coats, and right now this is the one I'm using; I like it quite a bit. OPI is pretty good too though, and I THINK it's a bit cheaper.

(Although, if your polish already stays you might not want to go to the extra effort. And expense. This shit be expensive...)

I never even heard of this stuff before. I just get my polish from Target. Thanks for the tip.

I think that's what the place by the old Borders is called. I was going to look to get Fro a sparkly pink fro-pick from there, once upon a time...

Do you think it's still there? I do know about one make up place that a bunch of my ren faire friends go to but it has a different name.
