So yes! We were talking about this in the last post. There's been talk before of some f!s members starting their own writing comm to discuss writing ideas and so on. And an anon replied to my comment a couple of hours ago with a comm they created as a sort of start:

I think they were looking for people to help mod and pretty it up too. But they also said that if somebody wants to make something better from scratch, they could go ahead. So how about it, f!s?

I like the idea! I am mostly a lurker but that might be a comm that could lure me out. :)

I'd love to help but I don't think I'm the right sort of person to be a mod. I'll join and see what I can contribute though. I really would love some more people to talk writing with.

I'd be interested either way, despite being a lurker. (In the comm bit I mean).

This is wonderful! Same as sarillia, I don't think I'm right for being a mod. I'd love to contribute, though.

If suggest maybe having a couple mods, depending on interest/size/how busy the mods are?

As the one who started the comm, yes! Multiple mods are fine by me. anyone who is remotely interested, let me know!

I'm the anon that started that comm (this afternoon to be exact!).. though I guess it's not really anon because you can see who I am on the mod list.

Anyway, if anyone would like to help mod it, that would be awesome. It's been a long time since I've modded a community and I don't know what's fashionable these days in regards to layout, rules, descriptions, etc. I'll upgrade anyone and everyone to mod who wants to, just either let me know on this comment or PM me or something.

Aww, don't worry too much about what's fashionable and what's not. It'll mostly just be us f!s members at first, so it's fine to start slow. Maybe we could start by some kind of intro post or something, just to get things going?

SA - though actually, I'm not totally sure if it's okay, since it's not technically a "fandom comm"? I uh, don't usually pay attention to that section so I'm not sure what's usually posted there.

Eh, this should work. It's fandom-related and it started from here on fandomsecrets, so I don't think case will make a big deal out of it. :)

Absolutely! As long as it's discussion and not advertising, I don't see why it should make a difference whether it is fanfic or original fic. It's all writing, right? :)

Yay! I know nothing about modding but I'll be happy to pitch in if needed.

:D Well, if you have any interest in being a mod, let me know. I don't know much about modding myself... delete troll/off-topic posts is basically it, right? lol. Seriously, though, I feel weird having a community in my name alone, so anyone who wants to be a mod (even in name only) just let me know!
