Okay, I have to agree with the anon. Labyrinth should never be remade. It's...complicated. Labyrinth was basically a flop of Jim Henson. I know it's a cult classic now, but then...not so much. It was slammed by critics, so much so that it took a huge toll on Jim Henson. He became extremely depressed over it, and it ended up being the last film he ever directed before his unfortunate death. Now, though, the film has so many fans and is beloved by a ton of people...that Jim Henson never got the chance to see that, it breaks my heart. That's why I think it shouldn't be remade.

There will ever only be on Labyrinth.

Well, that's depressing.

Gets even more depressing when you learn that the reason he died was because he didn't want to bother his ex-wife or anyone else to take him to the hospital...

Jim went to a doctor in North Carolina when he was visiting his parents. The doctor didn't find signs of pneumonia and told Jim to take some aspirin for his sore throat. He died three days later.
