Second this. That bit with Sophie in issue 14 or 15 was one of the most heartwarming scenes I've ever seen.
(in a really twisted way, because Saga)

It really was; out of all the heartwarming stuff that's happened so far in Saga (and there's been a good bit!), the Sophie and Lying Cat scene stands out. It was so sweet and well written.

I loved this scene! I love just about all the Sophie scenes, really.

And I agree with the heartwarming. Given the context of Saga, it's amazing how heartwarming a lot of it really is. I love the angle of how even the antagonists are fairly sympathetic and everyone is really just trying to look out for themselves in a really fucked up situation.

Me too. I hope she stays around for a long time.

Yea, I didn't want to like the antagonists but Saga makes it difficult not to. They're all relatable or likable in some way. People are complicated, Saga knows and shows this well.

Prince Robot IV may actually be one of my favorite characters in the whole series, honestly. The scene with the mouse medic just about killed me.

Same here. Or that scene where he tries to call his wife and tells her how he dreamed about them and their baby boy living by the sea ... while he was on his way to shoot a man in the leg so he could find a half-breed baby and murder it. He's such a delightfully complex character.

I have a lot of conflicting feelings about Prince Robot IV, tbh. He's an interesting character who I'm far too attracted to though, that's for sure. I enjoy his scenes so much and look forward to seeing where his story goes and how his character changes.

I have a disproportionate amount of love for medic mouse. So cute...so good. :( So little page time, such a short life... Poor medic mouse. That was one of the first times in the series I went, "Jesus Christ no!" in horror.
