can Lee Pace even sing? Because Bowie may not be an stellar actor, but the songs in Labyrinth are stellar because of him.

I agree! Jareth was written to be played by a popstar, so whoever plays him should be able to sing and dance.

I wrote a secret a while ago about how I wanted Xia Junsu to play Jareth (it was his Tarantellegra MV that did it although he's a musical actor too)...and actually I think a Korean version would be great. The main objection to remakes is that they're pointless, but remaking a movie for another country/language always seemed more logical to me. (like, not ESSENTIAL, that's what subs are for, but not useless either)
