Reading the Iron Druid chronicles, right now. Someone here recced it to me and despite the unintentional gendered issues making me wince now and then, by and large it's a great series. :)

Otherwise, mostly school books. :P

What's the gender issues for you? Is it how Granuaile is portrayed?

Well, I'm going to caveat by saying that I'm just finishing up the 4th/post-4th book, so maybe the next two will be different. But it's basically the very, very subtle things that don't really mean much on their own but I am only aware of because a) fandom is so social-justice oriented and b.) how many books there are. Namely things like how everyone who went up to Asgard to confront Thor is a male, how almost every woman other than Mrs. MacDonagh is really sexual somehow, and then conversely, how Atticus' fear of sex with Morrigan is played off for laughs when the whole damn thing is really rapey.

None of them are too bad, honestly, it's just that after a long fanfic run, they're rather jarring.
