Where are you fighting about this at? I haven't seen anything in the tag about this...as you said, there are plenty of characters who are clear allusions to real life races, and while people can project any race they like upon the characters...seriously, they want Jane to be black? A girl who lived in the jungles as a child and was removed from 'conventional' lifestyle and mannerism standards until she was found by scientiests? What kind of Unfortunate Implications?

Tumblr Social Justice: Trying so hard to be politically correct that you go full circle and end up being really fucking offensive instead.

hey hey hey
being anti-social justice means you're PRO-OPPRESSION okay?
Someone just told me that today in fact.

To be fair, there's anti-social justice and then there's anti-Social Justice Warrior(tm).

And thanks to the internet, I am now both.

AYRT

Hence why I specifically said Tumblr Social Justice, not social justice in general. Two very different things.

Super ultra mega different things. If Tumblr Social Justice had existed in 1955, the Montgomery bus boycotts would be replaced by twitter hastags "Busses SUCK" and you'd get screamed at if you said "go back" in any context because check your priviedge how do you know you aren't triggering someone who was told to go to the back of the bus, you white bus riding scum?!?! (Or if you're not white, then you're "internalized racism-having scum").

Oh, Tumblr SJW's. Keep thinking you make one iota of progress for your cause.
