I was the same when I was 16 - it's pretty common. I never felt weird about it. But then I'm not OP, so I take your point.

Lots of things that are really common might feel weird when you're 16: puberty, growing boobs, sexual feelings of ANY kind, periods... A person's still new at being a sort-of-adult, they might not know what's "normal". And not everyone lives in a household or has friends who talk about these topics enough for them to realize that a lot of people go through the same thing.

I remember being 16. It sucked. Hang in there, OP!
