Same here. At first I thought it might be some part of AO3 that I've never been to because of all the red.

It took me a second to recognize it too. Purple scheme ftw!

(As for the secret...only if it's the amusing kind of wank. The other kind can fuck off. And when a secret doesn't get commented on I just assume no one else knows or cares about the material. Which...is a bit unusual, but it must happen, right?)

I get confused when I see screens of the site, and the person doesn't use the stylish extension that lets you the full width of the screen for comments. I'm like, "What is this? Diet Dreamwidth?"

All I can say is that I hope you aren't the anon arguing with case at the top of the comments post. It would ruin my satisfaction of eating virtual popcorn with you if it turned out you're just starting shit with case to make sure there's some wank every day.

Oh! Also, I agree that a little bit of wank does make a place seem like home. It means people care enough to disagree, get vehement sometimes, and still keep coming back to talk to each other regularly! Hopefully not to the point where people hate each other though.

Mmm, I would call that a discussion (or an argument). To me 'wank' has an unnecessary kind of quality about it. Although seeing as the line is kind of thin and everybody draws it somewhere else, I can see where you're coming from.
