I hate both those shows so I voted for something else. I also don't care about Captain America, though. Why are we talking about British things in a movie called Captain America?

Because this is a unique opportunity to leverage a really great brand partner and extend the global reach of Marvel properties while also fitting in really naturally with the strengths of Marvel entertainment

I think it's because there's a lot of overlap in the MFU fandom and the fandoms of Sherlock/Dr. Who.

Personally, I think Dr. Who would make a great Green Lantern. I'd certainly watch that.

MU, but most commonly people just use the specific universe (i.e. Earth 616).

Actually, that's a lie: most commonly people use "MCU," but that's actually the cinematic universe. Poor communication abounds.
