And I would agree if OP was talking about their girlfriend, it would be creepy as hell, but this isn't the case. OP is talking about girls in general. I suppose I'm a terrible human being too for wishing real men were as kind and attractive as the ones in shoujo manga are.

Good point; otoh, I'll admit that I don't think wishing for the kindness of a fictional character is on a par with wishing for flawlessness, especially for flawless purity.
